Naruto 486: Determination

It’s a scene of Naruto and Sasuke as kids. Sasuke – in the back of the scene, is sitting at that bridge by the lake, where he was practicing his giant fireball jutsu as a kid. Naruto – in the front of the scene, is passing by. He sees Sasuke and he’s smiling.

Page 2:
Team 7 scene:
Kakashi: NARUTO!?
Sakura: NARUTO!?
The blow sends a lot of water in the sky and when it’s falling it looks like it’s raining. Now Naruto and Sasuke’s images are clear. They have grabbed each other by the hands and they’re both struggling to overstrenghten the other.
Naruto: I’m gonna pull you out of the darkness your heart has fallen into. I’M GONNA BRING YOU BACK TO YOUR COMMON SENSE.
Naruto pushes Sasuke away and he flies right into the wall behind him.

Page 3:
Madara scene:
Zetsu comes out of the ground.
Madara: You’re late!
Zetsu: …
Madara: I guess you’re not bringing me good news…
Zetsu: Kisame’s dead.

Page 4:
Madara: I guess things are gonna take longer than I thought.
Zetsu: How did it go with Danzo?
Madara: He’s dead. Sasuke did his part of the job. He overdid it a little, though. His eyes are not gonna last another fight.
Zetsu: So everything is going according to plan.
Madara: Yup! He’s gonna reconsider possessing his brother’s eyes soon enough. Soon I’ll have an ally strong enough to help my plan become a reality.

Team 7 scene:
Sasuke comes out of the hole made by crashing into the wall. Naruto is now in sage mode. Sasuke tries to summon the sharingan, but it’s still not clear and it goes off after just a couple of seconds.
Naruto: Sasuke, like I said before, I know that I grew up with no parents, no siblings at all, I know that I can’t fully understand you, because I haven’t lost what you’ve lost…, but now I know what it is to lose someone close to you. When they told me that Pain has killed Jiraya, I felt rage, I was mad, I wanted to avenge him. But then I got to think of pain and of pain as an outcome of vengeance. Hatred just brings more hatred and vengeance just brings more pain.

Page 6:
Naruto: If I had just killed Pain, I wouldn’t have changed his way of thinking. I would just have proven his point. I would just have fallen into the chain of hatred, just like you have now. If I had avenged Jiraya, if I had killed Pain, he wouldn’t have brought back to life the people he killed. Kakashi wouldn’t have been standing here today, a lot of the citizens of Konoha wouldn’t be alive today. I know what you’re feeling, but this is not the answer. Vengeance doesn’t make you feel better.
Sasuke looks down and when he looks back up he’s eyes have the sharingan.
Sasuke: Naruto…, I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a million times. It’s too late. Nothing you say now can change me!

Sasuke’s vision hasn’t improved much, but he can see clearly enough for one last battle.
Sasuke: Nothing you say now can change my mind. The only rage I’m feeling is towards you and the people of Konoha, but… (maniacally) LIKE I SAID, I’M GONNA KILL YOU AND EVERY LAST PERSON IN KONOHA! ALL I UNDERSTAND FROM YOUR ANSWER IS THAT YOU ARE GONNA BE JUST ANOTHER ONE OF MY VICTIMS!
Naruto : When I lost Jiraya there was nothing I could do. I wasn’t there with him to save him. That’s one of the things I most regretted. (determined) But I’m not gonna lose you without a fight…, Sasuke!

Page 8:
The water that was pouring from the sky has stopped. Naruto looks down now. Suddenly the water around Naruto starts boiling. The steam that’s coming out of the water goes around Naruto like a mist that’s hiding him. He slowly continues to disappear in it, until you don’t see him at all.
Suddenly the mist has been blown away. It’s Naruto. His teeth are lengthened, the lines on his cheeks start to resemble lightnings, his eye-lids are still black, but his eyes are now something between the sage and the fox eyes. Red chakra is still gathering around him until it’s all inside him. His clones disappear. Now he looks up and stares right into Sasuke.
Naruto (angrily): SASUKEEEE! I’M NOT GONNA LET YOU RUIN YOUR LIFE OR THE ONES OF THE PEOPLE I LOVE. THIS IS GONNA BE THE LAST TIME I’LL SAY THIS… SASUKE! I’M GONNA BRING YOU BACK TO KONOHA WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!…

Page 9:
Naruto raises his hand in the air and chakra starts gathering around it.
Sasuke: … (I could see his strong white chakras before, but this red one… it’s the Kyubi’s. He has combined them. This is…)
Sakura: (Naruto!)
Kakashi: Naruto…, wha…? (being cut off)
Naruto: Kakashi-sensei, Sakura, don’t interfere! This is my battle with Sasuke. I don’t want you to get hurt.
Sakura: But, Naruto…! (being cut off)
Kakashi: SAKURA!… (looks at Sakura) Ok, Naruto!

Page 10:
The chakra in Naruto’s hand starts to take shape.
Naruto: Sasuke! You made us come to this. THIS MADNESS OF YOURS WILL END RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!
The chakra that’s spinning around Naruto’s hand is a giant, red Rasen-Shuriken.
Sakura: (Naruto,…)
Kakashi: (… this is…)
Sasuke: (… unbelievable…)
Naruto (angrily): SASUKEEEE! (he shouts and throws the Rasen-Shuriken right at Sasuke)
Sasuke (while the Rasen-Shuriken is coming at him): SHIT!

Page 11-12:
KAAAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The Rasen-Shuriken hits Sasuke directly and goes off in an enormous blast.
Sakura: (NARUTO!)
Kakashi: (NARUTO!)
Naruto (smiling): Just what I aimed for.
The dust spreads and you can see the first faze of Susano around Sasuke (the skeleton).
Sasuke: (That was close!)

Page 13:
Now when the dust disappears you can see that Sasuke is standing in the middle of a giant crater created by the explosion of the Rasen-Shuriken.
Naruto’s smiling and is staring right at Sasuke. Sasuke’s breathing heavily and blood is dripping from his mouth.
Naruto: I can see that you won’t be able to keep it up for long. You see, now with the use of natural energy, I can feel the chakras of others, kind of like you can see them with your sharingan, and what I can see is that your chakras aren’t good enough for another fight.
Sasuke (looking angrily at Naruto): (He’s right! I was able to summon the Susano in the last second, but I’m not gonna last another fight.)
Suddenly Naruto disappears.

Page 14:
The next second he’s right in front of Sasuke.
Sasuke (shocked): … (Wha…! I couldn’t even see him!)
Naruto hits the Susano with all his strength, witch makes Sasuke cough more blood.
Naruto: Sasuke, I don’t wanna do this to you. Come back with us peacefully.
Sasuke (with a grin on his face): The same old naïve Naruto.
The Susano tries to hit Naruto with his sword, but Naruto disappears in the last second and appearing in front of the Susano he hits it again, witch makes Sasuke cough blood again.
Sasuke (with a hand on his mouth): … (I’m not gonna be able to last much longer. I have to…)
Naruto: If that’s your choice, then I guess I have to…

Page 15:
Sasuke: (…end this quick.)
Naruto: …end this quick.
Naruto gets away again. He raises his hand and starts to form a second Rasen-Shuriken. Meanwhile Sasuke’s Susano has disappeared and he closes his eyes.
Forest scene:
Someone: Sai, Sai, wake up!
Sai opens his eyes.
Sai: Captain Yamato?!
Yamato: Sai, what’s happened here?!
Sai: Sakura-chan put us to sleep and went on to kill Sasuke-kun.
Yamato: (Naruto must have gone after them. My hand shows no sign of tails, but I feel like he is using Kyubi’s chakra.)… Quick, Sai, wake the others! We gotta go.

Page 16:
Naruto has finished forming the second Rasen-Shuriken. Sasuke is still with his eyes closed.
Naruto: This is it! (throws the Rasen-Shuriken at Sasuke) IT’S OVER!
The Rasen-Shuriken is heading right at Sasuke and his Susano is gone.
Sasuke: (opens his left eye) AMATERASU!
Black flames are forming right in front of the Rasen-Shuriken. They’re growing bigger and bigger, until they have swallowed it.
Now they’re heading towards Naruto.
Kakashi: NARUTO!!!
Sakura: NARUTO!!!

Page 17:
Kakashi: (Damn it! I can’t use the Mangekue that soon after the last time I used it!)
The flames are heading right at Naruto.
Suddenly, right in front of him, they stop, like they’re being hold back by something. Then they start shrinking smaller and smaller, until they disappear.

Sakura: Great job, Kakashi-sensei!
Kakashi (shocked): It wasn’t me.
Sasuke: (What the…?!)
Sasuke is shocked. Now he can see Naruto. Despite of the fact that it’s a combination of the sage and the fox eyes, his left eye now has four comas situated diagonally to each other. And after consuming the Amaterasu they disappear.
Sasuke (shocked): (Those are…)
Naruto (shocked, too): (This must be…)
